A quieter kind of wild.

A stream runs through the shade. Carved stone catches the sun. The Ubud photographs find their detail where nature and architecture meet.

The first frame looks down into a shaded stream, with stone paths at the edge and foliage filling the space above. Green is not a single colour here: it is the light through a leaf, the dark of the water, the moss against the stone.

In the courtyard photograph, the carving comes forward. Small shrines stand in the sunlight while trees continue the composition behind them. The contrast is less between built and wild than between light and shade.

These are fragments from the Bali collection, kept together for their texture: weathered stone, running water and the dense, generous green of Ubud.
